Recently, Ruth Kelly the secretary of State for communities and local government has given her approval for the development of 47000sq meters of office space, 2 new hotels, shops, restaurents etc... in the city centre area which be a powerful symbol of the drive and creativity of Sunderlands revival. Adding to that, the great progress Sunderland Football Club are making under the guidence of Niall Quinn and Roy Keane and with the backing of their Irish consortium, it seems that Sunderland is the place to invest for the future
